I woke up this morning at 6:49am to stumble out of bed and go to the toilet. I was suprised to see how light it was outside, the days are beginning to get longer. :] Stumbled back to bed after that and lay there for about 20 minutes and gave up because my brain was so 'activated' that I couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up. I just know I'm to regret it sometime later today when I start to feel drowsy.
Anyway... I got up, turned the computer and grabbed some brekkie.
Checked my email, only 2 emails after the 8 hours of not being on the computer. :[

Took some photos of the sunlight coming through my window, so beautiful.

Got a package from a friend (two friends actually), it reminded me how much I love getting mail... and that people actually don't forget about me!

It's going to be a delightful 24 degrees today! I'm thinking about going for a walk or sitting outside and reading a book. Yesterday it was about 20 degrees or so, I went outside for half an hour and just lay on the cement in the sun. It was so nice. Except this flying ant kept bugging me, so I killed it and then I got a stick and killed it even more. It's guts all came out. X)

Time to go lovelies...

I'm back from a weekend without no furniture and no technology and here's how it went:

Friday -

I was quite sick, contemplated whether I go to to yuk (year 7 to 10 youth group which i lead at) that night or not. Spent the whole day in bed chatting to friends on chat/msn. I got a call from Big W asking me to ring back, but I couldn't because I had lost my voice so I rang my dad(with the little voice I had) and got him to call them. I found out that I have a job interview with them on the 24th which is good news.

At around 3pm I decided I was well enough to go to yuk so I got my youth pastor to pick me up on his bus pick up run. Got to moxies (youth bible study) at 5pm where we had 'powerhouse', we have praise music (eg hillsong united, planetshakers) and sing and dance and whatever. We also watched 2 clips off a Ken Davis dvd, very funny but I got something out of it as well.

Then went to youth at 6pmish, we left at 6:30pm to go to Charlies (all you can eat diner) where I stuffed my face silly (but everyone else was!) and I had to sit on the floor starting at 9pm because that was when I decided to start the 40 hour famine. Went back to the youth headquaters, got dropped off at my house on the bus drop off run.

I got my bag packed and my mum took me to the church where I would spend the next two nights with fellow faminers.

Slept in one of the back rooms in the Sam's (Sunday AMs, kid's Sunday school) with my friends Lara, Angela, Jamie and Rachel. I slept in my sleeping bag, and it was a good thing the carpet was semi-soft because I would have woken up with a really sore back.

Saturday -

Got up around 8:30am and didn't really have any breakkie coz I was still pretty full from the night before.

Played some cricket and four square with the other faminers. It was pretty good weather, so we decided to make a trip down to the beach. After I got a change of summer clothes from my dad, we headed down to Semaphore Beach in cars. The sun was so warm and the sand felt so good in between my toes after months of not being down at the beach. I took a few pictures which I will put on my flickr account in time.

Then we headed back to the church where I got my mum to pick me up. I went home, had a shower, got changed, had dinner then got back the church where pulse (year 11+ youth group) had started and everyone was piling onto the bus so I quickly ran and just made it.

We went up to hiking spot near Amstey's hill, and played 'dastardly double deed' game thing. One girl pulled out coz she was getting sick from not eating food and walking around heaps.

Anyways... my team won! And we got a shoe box (treasure chest lol) full of lollies and chocolates and all sorts.
We split up the prize into different bags when we got back to the church so we could all have a share.

After pulse had ended I headed back into the Sam's building where we watched that Angelina Jolie movie where she goes to different third world countries to help out and stuff. I got tired near the end of the movie so I headed into the back room where I found a few people playing my boardgame I had brought 'Life' so I went into the crampy storage room and fell pretty much straight to sleep.

Sunday

Woke up feeling pretty crap from the cold. Got up, got changed, packed my stuff up and moved it over to the church's red room.

Went to moxies leaders bible study at 9:30am then moved into the main hall where we sat on the floor for the entire church service.

Pretty much went home straight away because I was feeling sick. I was so glad to be home again, and that is where my 40 hour famine ended so I sat on the lounge and I also went back on my computer where I found 16 new emails and only 1 myspace comment. GOSH!

Anyways... that was pretty much it. I have raised $20 so far so I need more donations... if you can thanks!

I am still sick so I would appreciate your prayers as I am trying out for a day at a Bakery on Wednesday and I have the job interview at Big W on Thursday.

Till next time... catch ya later mutilator!

I don't know why I'm blogging at such a lovely hour in the morning, but I thought I'd do so now so I wouldn't procrastinate it off and so my lovely friends can have an update what's going on in the life of Kay.

Well I have currently found alot of jobs, had an interview and currently waiting for a callback on Thursday. Got an email about another job today saying I had to ring up for an interview.
Sending away my application for a TFN today when it's light outside.

Won't be doing much today, which kinda sucks. I want something to do. I might make a video or something. Haven't made a video for a few weeks now so I think it's time for a new one.

Got a cold on Friday night, which I'm still trying to get rid of. But it won't go away! It's like a piece of chewing gum that gets stuck on the bottom of your shoe.

Have a great week my friend-diddleeyoos!

Woah.... it's been a long time since I've posted a new blog.

*dusts of blog account*

Things that have happened since last blog:
1. Went to Planetshakers Conference in Melbourne (which would have to be the highlight of this year!)
2. Started year 12.
3. Influencers Conference in April/May?
4. Turned 18.
5. Left year 12.

So, I've left year 12 because I wasn't coping with the large amount of stress and work. And also I'm moving to Melbourne as of end of January 2007 to do a Internship at a church in Melbourne. Currently looking for a part time or casual job to start saving for my accomodation and course fees (which has to be paid by November!).
The job searching is getting there gradually, I had a short interview at Harris Scarfe last week and they said it'd take about 2-3 weeks to get back to me. I've been applying at various places, going to alterate a few things on my resume then send it out to 3 phone shop and Royal Adelaide Show, whom are looking for workers.

It feels a bit odd not being at school, but there is definitely a sense of freedom and relief. But doesn't mean I'm going to slack off. I am still volunteering as a leader in the youth ministry at my church, and have to do a few more things around the house as I am at home more often.

I got an email from Planetshakers a few months ago about variuos things going on, including next year's conference:
"
Planetshakers Conference 2007 is fast approaching and we have some exciting news to break!! THIS JANUARY
we will be in 3 MASSIVE venues in 3 AWESOME cities; Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth….

For those of you who are in South Australia and NSW this is an amazing opportunity to band together with your fellow state buddies and take a road trip to either Perth, Melbourne or Brisbane…. Over the years these trips have been an opportunity for people to build meaningful relationships (2 marriages have come from a bus trip to PS!!) and stir excitement and expectation for what God will do in you and through you during the conference. For all those youth leaders needing a hand with transport and accommodation, your state co-ordinator will contact you about some incredible deals we have in the pipe-line or you could contact the Planetshakers office for all the information you need.

Some of you may wonder why Planetshakers have decided to consolidate the conference back to three venues. Well, after much prayer and consideration of all the Planetshakers commitments, including the running of Planetshakers City Church and international tours, we know this decision will ensure Planetshakers runs a high quality event in all locations.

Planetshakers is dedicated to empowering this generation to win a generation and we are positioning ourselves to be able to more effectively fulfil the call God has placed upon our ministry. Our desire is to love God and obey him. We know Planetshakers Conference 07 is going to be the biggest and best yet and we can’t wait to see you there. We are soexcited about what God is going to do across this nation in January 2007."
Anyways, at it says... planetshakers won't be in Adelaide next year, but that's all good because that means I can go to Melbourne again. Which will be a ball! I absolutely can't wait till it comes around, it's only 5 months away.

That brings me to the end of another blog entry, a rather large one too. :P

Goodbye my freiends... and till next time: don't forget to stay kay-tastic!
